In 2005, the Xbox 360 was launched as the official successor to the first Xbox. The Xbox 360 was smaller in design but had an external power supply. In 2007, the Xbox 360 Elite appeared, which came in black with a 120 GB hard drive. The smaller Xbox 360 Slim E came out in 2010. The uniqueness of the Xbox 360 series is the backwards compatibility to the Xbox Original games.
