On this page we try to offer as many different game consoles of the Nintendo Wii (Model RVL-001) and Nintendo Wii U (Model WUP-001 / WUP-101) as possible. In 2005, the Nintendo Wii was introduced as the official successor to the Nintendo GameCube. The Nintendo Wii was eventually succeeded by the Wii U in late 2012. Older retro games could still be played through the Virtual Console.
